Just coming back...!  B)  HEEEEEYYYYY!

Ok, I knew only yesterday at 10 am that I was actually going to Evolution, I wasn't sure, I arrived there that Haggard was playing still.

Tristania was on stage for 4 pm after Haggard.
Despite my f***ing camera didn't want to run, I managed to take some photos of Anders and Rune trading with guitars, microphones and basses but I fear the film is burned

So they started to play.
So bad Einar and Kenneth weren't there.
There was Anders, Rune, Vibeke, Osten (ehm.. ),
Svein and a new drummer with blonde air (unfortunately I don't know his name....I don't think is Kenneth who's dyed his air.....no no... And I CAN definitely recognize Kenneth! Yes yes..)

Anders did all the growls supported by Svein. For me it worked well! Ok no need for a new growler  B)
SO: me and Daisy no chance of being in Tristania lol

But I KNOW you want to hear about the new material.
I didn't recognized the title... Vibeke said it but I didn't catch it...

In my opinion IT'S BEAUTIFUL! They did only a song... it's very similar to Equilibrium's style... I liked it, a lot, and I'm in great expectation for Illumination!!

About the live. Rune and Vibeke moves a lot on the stage... I liked this VERY MUCH 'cause I always thought that Vibeke was a little too still (due to the little stages thought), she's a great FRONTWOMAN!!! And Osten... did I already said that I love him? lol  :P

...

Thanks Tristania for the great day, and your songs and your heart!
Keep well my lighter Anders, I'll control you  ;)  (joking eheh).

TRISTANIA RULEZ!

I hope you had fun,I was there too and I loved the show.
I took photos and I have to check them,I'll post them as soon as possible. :)
About the setlist, they started with Angellore and closed with The Wretched.
They played (I can't remember the right order, sorry!!!) Angina,Beyond the Veil,A Sequel Of Decay,Libre,World Of Glass,a new beautiful song taken from "Illumination". :)

Yes, great show! I had a lot of fun! Pity my camera probably burned the film... :(
I've got to buy a new one! Digital!

So I hope you post soon your piccies  :)
Did you took pictures of the Meet & Greet session too?

The songs they played in order (as I recollect):

Angellore
Angina
The new Illumination song
Libre
A sequel of Decay
Beyond the Veil (kickass!!)
World of Glass
The Wretched

for 40 minutes circa of show!

I think the meet & greet thing is fantastic  :D

Probabilmente ci saremo viste di sicuro  ;)

I came along for once - and although I didn't bring a good camera with me (and I'm not one to hug the stage), I did manage to take a couple of photos - put them here : http://www.tristania.com/?page=/photoAlbum..._2006/index.asp.

I also have a lot of pictures from the trip in general - I thought I'd write a trip diary if I get the time.

I just came back from the fest.
Yes Kenneth wasn't there, but Anders told me that he will be back soon. The new song title may be The Ravens, but I'm not sure.. it's a doomy song similar to the Ashes' ones but a bit darker and slower I think. Osten does the main vocal lines and Vibeke is background singer for it. Vibeke told that the album will come out in January 2007. The setlist that someone posted here is right, and it's true that Anders and Svein are the new singers for the band (Anders' doing growling and Svein doing screaming). I'll come back with a review and pics soon

I got many photos too... :)
I'll post them later online when I got some more time.

I just want to add that the new song is called "The Ravens".
Sounds really promising :)

another thing about the gig: they startet with Angellore, and not the Intro they used last year

Sounds great! Thank you. :D Now I have another reason to look forward to hearing the new album.

I love dark and doomy songs but I also hope the new album doesn't sound too much like Ashes ( I love Ashes, but I don't want a 2nd one ), a few more heavier songs would be great.

The new song sounded very balanced... calm and doomy... but still featured some growls :)

Look up to Lolo's post, he says "Vibeke told that the album will come out in January 2007. "

The show sounds like it was really awesome! I'm so jealous and hope someday I'll get the chance to see Tristania live. I really wanna hear "The Ravens" now, I'm very curious about it...
