I'm thinking about Stuttgart, Frankfurt and Munich. But it's close to the MFVF, which would be great, too.
Haven't heard much about Asrai in the last years, but I saw them live 5 years ago. They were not the best band that evening (okay, that's hard playing together with Autumn, After Forever and Epica ;))
but I liked it.

I will be there on the Dutch dates and perhaps MFVF again. I have a bit my doubts about Asrai. Especially in their own country they are forgotten a bit, because they were silent for a long time.

On one hand it can be a good thing, to stay exclusive as a band and not playing in every pub around the corner. On the other hand both bands were silent for a while: people need to discover them again, and maybe a 3rd band can convince them more to buy a ticket and check them out. Nowadays there are so many female fronted bands in Europe, and it is getting harder to sell tickets. Not that I am sceptical about their talent, but I think I miss something to make it complete as a package.

The second support band on this tour will be a polish band called UnSun. I saw them once live on stage in Gdynia (Poland) and they sound so horrible! Their album is not so bad, but this girl can't sing in English at all, so sorry for all of the Tristania's fans that you have to hurt yourself with this kind of music :]]]

I know UnSun a little bit, and have listened to Asrai...
I don't know, I can't say they are bad bands... I think they sound somewhat boring... :-[
But for Tristania-warm-up they are ok, because the main (or only) reason i got to munic or Tristania concerts ARE TRISTANIA! ;D

I don't know yet which concerts I'll be able to attend (alas, life and work do tend to get in the way of such things), hopefully more than one, they play in Germany so often.

Have to say though I'm not very thrilled as far as the support bands are concerned. Well, as Mr. Tobend put it, Tristania are the reason I want to go to the concerts after all :)

Hopefully Tristania will play a lot of new songs, so please keep the oldies at home and 'feed' us with some new ones  8)
I like Asrai, but it took a while to get into them, because they are totally different and that makes them very dynamic.
Just received the promo from Unsun, but it is from Poland and dark.. that is always a great combination  haha ;-)
(I grew intro Behemoth after some years..)

Silvia, you have to write a review for "Clinic for the Dolls" as soon as possible 'cause after their debut album I'm really sceptic :)

Great news: Pete will join the band for the first part of the tour

Quote
Tristania are delighted to announce that violin virtuoso Pete Johansen will be joining the band on the first half of the upcoming European leg of the Rubicon Tour.

After playing on the Rubicon Release Party in Stavanger, Johansen will rejoin the band in London on October 8th for the concert at Camden Underworld, and stay on board until after the Krakow concert on October 15th.

“This wasn’t really planned at all. Pete was supposed to join us for the release party in Stavanger and that was all, but on our first rehearsal together just a few weeks ago everything just clicked. We did actually joke with Pete about him joining us for the tour, and little did we know that only two days after, Pete would offer his incredible talent to us for so many more gigs than planned. We’re all really buzzing about this, and we think our fans will see this as a nice bonus”
