My favorite is Equilibrium. I just love the way their voices seem to blend and just the overall sound of the song.

I remember the first time I heard this it sent shivers down my spine.
Very delicate and graceful, I'd love to see more of this style in Tristania's material

I like Bird as well.. proves that less is more

after a while (some months) still like the album a lot.. don't know exactly why but it is everything you expect from Tristania I guess.

Well, after Illumination came out, I gave Ashes some more listenings (as you may all know I have been fairly disappointed with this album, even though I found it listenable, I just expected more) and noticed the track that really gives me shivers and that it's on repeat most of the time is Shadowman. I guess it's the obscure feeling it captures and the slight touch of surrealism that makes this song so special. On the contrary of my first impressions, I now find Cure one of more blank songs on Ashes.

And I still very much dislike The Wretched.

I voted for "Endogenisis"... But I also really love "Shadowman", "Bird", and "Cure". All the songs are awesome, really.

My favourite is "Endogenesis", it has very beautiful choir parts, and nice synth-melodies in the background.
I think it sounds a little bit like BtV sometimes...

But i also like "The Wretched", especially when all 3 Vocalists sing together!
