hello everybody! i am new at this forum so excuse me please for my English because i only speak a little  ;D

Heretique was the first first first song i heard of Tristania and i loved! it's an amazing song, i like the synth sound like an old piano mixed with .... eh ... well i don't know  ;D
I'm a fan from Peru (a country from South America) and I seriously believe that Tristania deserves much more success for it's music, even if Vibeke is no more in the team  :'(  :'(  (THAT'S REAALLYYY SAD, I LOVE HER VOICE!!! COME BACK VIBEKE!!!  :'(  :'( )

Thank you Tristania for being the biggest musical inspiration for me, good luck for you Osten, Anders, Rune, Kenneth, Svein Terje, Vibeke, Kjetil, Morten, and finally but not less important Einar Moen, I admire you sooo, we are both in the synths!!  ;D   (i have my rock band too, we're influenced by the Tristanian teachings  :D )

Good luck for you all

Tristania forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it's an awesome song, like most songs on Beyond The Veil (make that ALL songs on BTV  :P  ). The song is just.. amazing. A real outlet of power, that electrifies you from start to end.

I like Heretique very much. I can even say it's my fav from "Beyond The Veil". The beggining of this song is the ringingtone in my mobilephone ;) I miss Jan in Tristania's songs- he acts better always with Tristania than with Sirenia ;)

well video is kinda weird and boring, like The Grudge or something like that...anyway,I like the song because of the drums I just loved them all the way to the ending...and the way morten manages every plug in damn he is quite good!...thou lyrics are like, well, not out of the regular stuff in metal...thou is a great song, but Opus relique is the one that made me fall in love with this particular album...and beyond  the veil too

In the booklet it says:

''Nothing from thy world
will remain thine
accept the very priveliege to die''

In the lyrics-section on the website it says:

''Nothing from thy world
will remain thine
except the very priveliege to die''

There are several spelling-errors in Tristania's lyrics, but this may be important to the actual meaning of the song.
