 It is tough call, but i would have to say tristania.
 If you ask me Sirenian Shores and at sixes and sevens were both  well done, but elixir for existance was terrible. There were only three good soongs on the entire album.

I think it's strange that someone prefers Sirenian Shores to any other Sirenia album.. :)

well it's shorter than " An elixir for existence" so it's not so boring  :P  Still "At sixes and sevens" is the best...
Morten sounds imo better in old tristania, but is that important?...

I vote Tristania. I think Morten sounds better together with Vibeke than that girl from Sirenia. (I've heard her, obviously,  I just don't know her name  <_<)

Sirenia's okay, but I think Tristania was a better fit for him.

Sirenia!!! ::)
Sirenia was (was,because I can't say is with the shit of the last album) more much better than Tristania!
Now,Tristania is better,because Sirenia sucks with those pathetic and commercial music and with Monika Shiterson.I can't believe that Morten left Tristania,because the band becomt to be commercial,weeell,now Sirenia is more commercial than all the Tristania's album together,can't believe that!
Well,I really love the gold Tristania's era,but my vote is for Sirenia!

@6's&7's was/is pretty good!
All my friends really got into the Morten era Tristania (I really got on board with WORLD OF GLASS)
So for me Post-Morten (he, he! :D) is the way to go!

well ... i don't know ... Sirenia last album is, indeed, more commercial than previous albums (also the only one that has videos), but sounds less "gothic" than ASAS and AEFE, i mean it's not so traditional gothic metal ... NDAAD has a mainstream sound, but doesn't mean that is bad ...

I think Morten is doing well in Sirenia, although MY VOTE IS FOR TRISTANIA: with Morten, Tristania was climbing to its golden age, to their highest glory . For that reason i believe WoG, BtV and WW represent the core of his sound

That's my opinion  :)

That's right, Pale Enchantress, i know  :)  but despite that, WoG still has that "old Tristanian sound" from BtV and WW  :)

not very much... the sound is more electhronic in WOF... and the lyrics' style is very very different..

ok ... just a few of the "sound" hehe :P i mean the choirs and atmosphere ... and of course Vibeke' traditional soprano style (i don't know how to say ... mm ... well let's put this way: her voice in Illumination doesn't sound like the first three albums  :-\ )  ..... whatever ... you know what i mean  ;D

but ... now my opinion is different ... i don't know certainly if i really like Morten in Tristania more than in Sirenia ...

well, anyway :

1)Morten's era is the Past

2)ASAS and AEFE are good, but not better than BtV or WW (in my opinion)

3)Illumination isn't boring, but i like more NDaaD

so i vote for ... nothing!  :D

I agree, WoG is still a good album, it's still very old Tristania... I consider it old Tristania anyway...
