He definitely sounds his best in the old Tristania albums, but the early Sirenia albums like At Sixes And At Sevens are pretty wicked and his vocals are great. Even the later Sirenia albums are really good even if they're different. His clean vocals on some of the songs are really amazing!!!

The only improvement I see is that he started to do clean vocals, which do not sound too bad. In all other aspects, Morten has gone downhill a lot. YMMV.

His vocals on An Elixir for Existence are his best in my opinon. They are rough, and more raspy than earlier, but they are honest, and I don't think he used much effects on them.
