Well, I actually bought Ashes first, as it was the only one I could find at the time here in the US. I had heard clips of Tristania before buying it, though. Cure stood out as a favorite track immediately, though I was not too impressed with the rest until it grew on me a while later. My second and third Tristania albums, WW and BtV, I found at a shop specializing in obscure metal, goth, etc. Then I bought WoG, through iTunes. I prefer buying the hard copy, though, and am thus still looking for Illumination.

^ That's what I often do. I find one song that I like, then I dig up their shittiest and most necro demo  ;D

I actually only own two albums:
1. Beyond the Veil
2. Rubicon

Angina was the first song I listened to, but when it comes to actual albums... I tried Widow's Weeds first, then Beyond the Veil... and those two was enough to feed my need for epic music for a while. I did peek at their (at that point) newest album Illuminated, but it didn't catchy my fancy. I then tried Ashes after reading alot about it, but it has needed along time to grow...

Unfortunately, World of Glass was my last album to try out.

I can't tell an order since I listened to the most played songs from each album at first, but I bought them in this order:
1. Beyond the Veil.
2. World of Glass.
3. Ashes.
4. Widow's Weeds.
5. Illumination (but hasn't arrived yet).

I like Rubicon a lot, but I have other priorities atm :)
