that one is really worse... sad that most reviewers don't take themselves the time to listen to an album more than once...

Ah ok, I understood...
Personally I agree with the ones who say Illumination is commercial, too much easy-listening etc., because Illumination is so...
but I too think it is a wonderful album that anyone can listen: heavy metallers who want to relax as well as pop-oriented listeners who want to listen to something more aggressive than their usual musical tastes.
Illumination is a great album, I could define it somehow elegant and charming. But like almost all metal albums, you need to listen to it many times to really understand it. For example, the first time I heard Widow's Weeds I didn't like it, but now it's one of my favourite albums of all time.
So Illumination maybe isn't as stylish as Widow's Weeds, but it's an awesome album for all people who desires to listen to beautiful music. That's all, for me.
Hear the cries from the mourning palace...

Hear the screams from the mourning palace...
Feel the doom of haunted chants...
