some days ago i was invited to join to the Sirenia Myspace crew but i reject them is the first time i reject someone on my space and i realy proud of that, my boyfriend said that i relate Sirenia with something that i dislike. and that is call Betrail

Ehm, I just watched the topic at Sirania.no and the majority of opinions there were pretty positive of the album?

Sure, there are some "hardcore Morten-fanbois/girlz", but it's not like we don't have those here.

There are some samples on nuclearblast.de and an interview with Morten. He says that the songs are now compact, short, reduced to the most imortant things and very intesive, with a lot of melodies... not like tristania...
And two samples of the new album...
Hm.. sounds like Evanescence :))) A lot of new metal influences... But in general not so bad...
Just if I remember correctly, Morten didn't wanted to play "pop" songs so he left the band / was kicked out from Tristania...
And now he made more pop-charts... album which can beat Within Temptation and Evanescence in the charts... :))

well, there are growls on only 3 ou 4 songs and not a lot in fact...sounds more like a girl band now... it's not what I expect from Sirenia  :(

I've just listened the album and I think it's pretty awful, I feel like if I am listening to Kelly Clarkson or something like that :o

You mean the new Sirenia album?  :huh:

I haven't heard the new Sirenia yet but I certainly don't believe Morten will ever make something like that.

I don't know Kelly Clarkson, but that album is something I wouldn't have expected from Morten either.. ;)
