Hi, a few minutes ago I talked to the place where tickets will be sold (Hard Rock Cafe). The girl who answered the line, told me that Kreator is the main band and Tristania doesn't even appear in the contract (wich makes me think that Tristania will play about 15 minutes...  Sad ). I really need to know if this is true... I just got a few songs from kreator, and I don't like'em at all... but that doesn't matter cause if Kreator is the main band... then I'll have to think a lot about going or not going to the gig.

Please tell me that Tristania is the main band!!!!  <_<

Camus: Hopefully you could answer Libre's question, but can you please do it next time in English. Thanks.

chales carnal, ya te regañaron. Yes, I also saw that... I really don't like kreator. I e-mailed Edemma or whatever the organizator is, and someone (didn't specified his/her name) told me that each band will play more than a hour. I already bought my ticket so lets just wait.

There are concerts where several bands get equal playtime. I once saw Apocalyptica together with The Rasmus and Lambretta. Lambretta started the show as a support act. The Rasmus played 70-75' and finally made room for some real music. Apocalyptica also played 70-75'.

The main band is obviously Kreator, but both of them made complete sets here in Moterrey... Tristania played 1 hour and 10 minutes... which I think is a normal set for them, but I cannot be sure... Kreator played fucking awesome 2 hours... and if you are paying 300 pesos or maybe more... you should stay to see both bands... I enjoyed a little bit of Tristania... you can maybe enjoy a little bit of Kreator...

Nah, I payed 385 cañas and I only stayed to see Tristania... they delayed more than 2 hours and Tristania appeared first... i think that orphaned land was late...

However,  the sound was awfull   , Vibeke's vocals were all distorted, and most of the vocals where hard to undestood. I wast in first row, and yes, I've studied the lyrics well.

I took some pics, I'll post 'em as soon as i gent an IRDA adapter for my cell.

The only thing I dislike about Tristania playing live... is that the growler... Jeti or something like that use distorsion in his microphone... he don't sing like Morten Veland did...

*laugh* Jeti? *laughs harder*

Kjetil you mean Tongue

And of course he doesn't sing like Morten did but that is like comparing apples to pears.. (or how is that saying going in English.. no clue)

Distortion? As far as I know both Kjetil and Anders growl without effects.

Wasn't that mic just crappy?

I'm sure that Kjetil used some kind of effect in the microphone... I don't know if he do that always, but at least in the gig they did here last friday, he did. I noticed when he intoduce a song or talked to the audience... I heard two voices... or a higher echo...

And here in Monterrey, the sound was "good" or normal... like any concert in Café Iguana...

Maybe he uses sometimes the same "echo" / "hall" effect as Anders does. But he don't use voice destrotion or a level pitch shifter
