Metal Female Voices Festival
« on: 17 August 2005, 11:06:51 »

Seeing as this year's festival is near upon us in Belguim (I should make an effort to go to one of these) what would fellow members like the line up to be? (is anyone going to this festival this yearby the way?)

Here's my line up! (there's 12 bands on the line up so I kept it the same!)

Tristania
Nightwish
Within Temptation
Leaves Eyes
Dark Sanctuary
Lacuna Coil
Zed Yago
Sinergy
Edenbridge
Oratory
Lunatica
Magica

~ Paul ~

(a close call between Nightwish and Tristania but I would give Tristania the headline for a change!)

My MFVF would look like this:

Tristania
Sirenia (VERY interesting to have them both at the same gig)
Lacuna Coil
Nightwish
Draconian
Ram-Zet
Within Temptation
After Forever
Epica
Flowing Tears
Aesma Daeva
Ancestral Legacy

God, that would be awesome.

I would like to add "The Gathering" as well, and probably as the headliner. Granted, they are not metal anymore, but they are one of the most respected bands for their sounds and I think they inspired a lot of other bands.

(Besides, the chorus of strange machines is one of the few songs in female-fronted rock/metal which can give me goosebumps.)

Another addition: The Birthday Massacre

Good diversity in the line-up: I think it will be better than last year. I still hope that Tristania will have the change to be headliner this festival; so maybe the management need to contact MFVF;)
