Well, I travelled about 2500 km (maybe more) to Leipzig for the WGT :P
It was very tiresome but worthwhile ;)

Drac was absolutely killer! 3 songs: Daylight Misery, The Dying (New song!) and The Cry Of Silence. 30 minutes playing time ---> DOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!
I love their 2 releases and this gig was one of the highlights on the breeze beside Lacuna Coil, Dark Tranquillity, Disbelief and of course Tristania. IMO with the best gig of the festival.
The last time i saw them was on the World of Glass tour, so it was a long time ago.
It was fantastic, very good song choice of new and old songs and perfect performance! Nothing more to say...

Draconian was really amazing:
They played Epostulation (Intro) and Heaven Laid in Tears too.
Another Highlight was Orphaned Land for me, and of course Tristania.
But the audience was quite unpleasant partly... stagedivers.. I hate them... especially if they are full of mudd... imho some kinds of metal don't fit to stage divers... and some other people showed too much activity for such masses of people... but the gig itself was great, except they didn't play other songs from Ashes, no Endogenisis or Bird once more, and no Tender Trip on Earth... :(

Had a great time on summer breeze. Althought I had a backstage pass, I almost did not get there.  Just for the free coffee. So didn’s met tristania members.
I was all day on the festival place to see the bands together with my friends.
Met some nice people from my country and a very nice barlady and seen een some very good gigs. I think there was a band in almost every style of music,  so that’s a really positive point.
Negative points: not enough water points and toilets at the campside. Really had to walk too far.
Too bad the weather changed Friday. Rain, rain , more rain. This summer sucks

Some short reviews/ my opinions
Anorexia nervosa / Enthroned / Nocte Obducta (there are not many good black metal gigs, and black metal bands on a stage outside is most of the times one big sound of noise like sawing machines, so for this 3 bands my opinion is the same. It sucked)
The Bones (some nice rock and roll)
Macabre (Always fantastic to hear the stories before every song)
Schanmaul (Didn’t knew it but it liked the music)
God Dethroned (dutch proud)
Therion (In the begin very bad sound, but later the sound became good and it was one of their best gigs I’ve seen))
Ektomorf (soulfly clone, not my music)
Amon Amarth (Can’t get pursuit of vikings out of my head)
Haggard (great musicians, great concert, but why did they pull the plug in the middle of a number, I was angry, but at the same time I startet singing the classic song of death)
Krisiun (damned this was a brute gig, brilliant)
Norther (COB wannabe’s)
Behemoth (love this band but the sound sucked really hard, they should have played on the mainstage)
Dark Tranquility (The cd’s are great, But as usual they had a really bad sound again, last 4/5 times I’ve seen them the sound sucked)
Atrocity (only saw the last number, tears for fears cover: shout)
Opeth (briljant pieces of masterwork,  want more)
The Exploited (Best punk concert ever seen)
In extremo (very good live band but I’ve seen it too much I think)
Draconian (Had a really good sound, summer of doom,  very great)
Lacrimas Profundere (Boring)
Orphand Land (WTF is this, haha, good musicians, but I really had to laugh)
Disbelief (very boring death metal)
The Vision Bleak (this was surprise of the day, didn’t expect it was that good live)
Such A surge (Yak, dinner time)
Symphorce (descent band, great singer)
JBO (you have to be german to like this, I thought I just died and this was hell)
Tristania (We all love tristania, I really Enjoyed the gig, much better gig then the wacken gig 2 weeks ago, but too be honest, tristania is not a festival band, I missed the atmosphere that tristania only can be get in a small club, just my opinion…)
Lacuna Coil (Just good as always. But it’s really time for a new album)
Pain ( wow, this concert was fantastic, perfect band to shut down the festival)

Mh, I hope my skills in English are enough ;)

1.Subway to Sally:
really great :) what more to say? Good sound, good songs, good mood in the audienece...

2.Therion: ok, troubles with sound, but I liked it

3.Tristania: really good, wouldn't have expected it after Wacken

4.Draconian: Didn't know them before, but I enjoyed them!

Wintersun, Haggard, Schandamaul and Pain were also good

Boring: Lacrimas Profundere, Midanttsol, Atricity, JBO (at least sometimes, although I'm German)

Bad: In Extremo

The rest was ok (apokalyptische Reiter, Dark Tranquillity, Opeth, Lacuna Coil...)

I travelled only tow hours by car :-P

Sorry for posting that late but I think you might be interested in what I have here.
After I caught one of the stage track lists at Summer Breeze I got some autographs on it as well as a "special note". Unfortunately I haven't seen who wrote it but it was definitely one of the bandmembers. (after I read it I knew why Vibeke looked a bit strange at me when she gave it back)

But watch yourself. I had to laugh after I saw it first. (look at the left side of the pic, the upwards written 'note')
