Thanks a lot for your attention, really, much appreciated!

@reumeren: True, Draconian, along with Saturnus, is probably our biggest influence. Especially the first two albums, that we listened so many times... Glad you enjoyed the song as a whole :)

@Illuminated World of Ash: That's really nice of you to say... But we would need to hire a female vocalist if we want to make it to this festival, right? ;) And in that song, although some people think it's hard to believe, the guitar-player Rosarius is in charge of all clean vocals! Anyway, glad to see that you enjoy our music much more than professional bands with more experience than us ;)

Thank you man! :)

It's great to know that you already heard of us before (and that someone put us on a list, that's really flattering!)

Yeah, although Tristania may not be our N1 influence, our name is definitely linked to that gorgeous song.

In our mind, this name recalls the mysteries of eternity. And it sounds beautiful and frail, as a Lady's name. That goes very well with the vision we have about our own music.

Thanks for your welcoming :)

Yes, I share your thoughts about Childhood. It's probably the best period in a lifetime (if you have the chance to grow in a nice environnment, of course).
Personally, I feel the end of this song's introduction as a kind of decadence. Like a carousel that slows down, and the illusions and innocence are left behind...
In Angellore (our band), we feel close to that state of mind too. Nostalgia, contemplation, regrets of our past, return to innocence...
That's also why this song means so much for us too!

Darkest White / Re: New album 2013

I love the album, even better than Rubicon in my humble opinion.
It's hard to recognize Tristania sometimes, but the songs themselves are really good.
"Requiem"'s chorus is just wonderful, and I think the song "Darkest White" is great. The chorus reminds me of the american band Nachtmystium. Quite a coincidence, but listen to their song "Assassins" and I guess you'll figure out what I mean :)

Anyway, looking forward to hear some of the new songs on stage.

Your work / Angellore (atmospheric doom metal band from France)

Hey everyone!

I would love to introduce you to my band, Angellore.

We are three musicians from France, trying to share our own vision of atmospheric doom metal.
Our main influences are Saturnus, Draconian, Theatre Of Tragedy, Empyrium, Tristania, Shape Of Despair, (old) While Heaven Wept...

And yes, before you ask, we take our name from that amazing Tristania song, from Widow's Weeds. The special atmosphere of this album has really changed our vision of Gothic/doom metal and has always been a source of inspiration for us.

We recently published our first record, "Errances" ("Wanderings", in french).

Although we already had some reviews on the internet, we are very eager to get some interesting feedbacks about our music. So, if you're into goth/atmospheric death-doom metal, please give us a try!

Here is a link to listen to our "single", "I Am The Agony"

Looking forward to read back from you! Please, share your opinion and comments!

Thanks a lot in advance ;)
