so which ones do you prefer?

my choices would be..

conceirning Midwintertears i think i prefer the EP version... Vibeke's vocals are clearer and the keyboards as well, they sound more... hmmm.. sparkling... and i love the choirs which aren't so obvious in the WW version...

when it comes to the EP version of Pale Enchantress though... no violin, no Vibeke chorus... i definitely prefer the WW version though the "sparkling" keyboards still give a point to the EP version i also love the ending of this version more than the one on the album...

i prefer all the song of WW but the demo version is cool because is a demo!!!
I like bad sounds, less chourus.....wonderful!! And i like so much sing in pale enchantress demo version the part which Vibeke doesn't sing....

Well I haven't heard midwintertears enough to distinguish two different versions. I do have one off of Midwintertears-Angina, and Widow's Weeds, and I know the Pale Enchantress on my copy of M-A is the demo since Vibeke's vocals aren't there. Is the midwintertears on M-A the demo version, or is it the same exact thing as the one on Widow's Weeds? The one I have on M-A is a lot lower in quality. They do seem about the same length, though - 8:30 on M-A, 8:32 on WW. 2 second difference.

well theoretically speaking the version on the EP is the demo and the version on the album is reworked, hence the better quality. there aren't many differences between the two tracks. i can't really write them down right now, just listen closely to the album version first until you will have the complete structure in your mind and then listen to the demo. you'll hear the differences then.
