I think it could have been the best, but the balance is wrong. On the Widow's Tour video, I love the singing at the end (after the quiet bit with the sound of water), but in the album-version this is far too quiet (I didn't notice it untill I knew it was there).
On the other hand, the violin and all the singing before the water-bit are too quiet on the Widow's Tour.

So when I listen to the song I always have to listen to both versions, so that I get the best of both...

Indeed, it was actually the first song I heard by Tristania and I believe still my favourite. Can't really say why, it has a really melancholic ambient and IMO it is definately the best song on WW.

I just love this song. Nothing more to say  ;)

I won't say it's the best; I think Angellore and Wastleland's Caress are slightly better. But it's obviously one of the three highlights of Widow's Weeds.

A great song- especially the soft part where the violin begins to play.

true. i wish that the oh-s at the end were like that on the album too, they're so haunting. that, the verses, the whispers and the violin are pure beauty. i think it's one their best songs.

It's my favourite from WW.

This album in general isn't mixed well, and I'm not 100% sure If I like guitars' sound, but it's the first album... Could've been done better but it is as it is - we have to accept it, cause we'll never hear anything like that from Tristania.

Every single time I hear this song I have shivers down my spine. It remainds me a little "Brave Heart" :)
