I wanna ask you what you think about The Modern End?
The first times i heard WOG i skipped that song, but when i listend some times to this song i really got to love it, especially when I'm lying in bed late at night.
I haven't thougt that my opinion about one song can change that much.. :)

I like it, especially after I heared the original. Never deleted an mp3 after spinning it once or twice before.

Not that I know of.

Others songs on the internet credited to Tristania:

"The phantom of the Opera" -> Nightwish
"The Beauty of a Witch" -> Barksten

NEver really liked this song, the techno industrial sound that came from it didn't really get me. I think this song was more experimental and I just hope they didn't develop on that path for Ashes. The rest of the songs on World of Glass were great though  ...

If you mean the whole lyrics of The Modern End:
"
Camera angles
decadence of a dying world
Matchsticks
Long dark corridors
They've got the urge to die young

Deepbluelettering

Carousels and fireworks
Ferris wheels
are spinning in the arc-lite city
Do they know
They have slept for so long
Do they know
The taste of their tongue
Do they know
They are trapped

Let's celebrate the modern end
Let the world begin again
Celebrate the renaissance man
"

I actually think that The Modern End is a sound Tristania should work with.  Elements found in The Modern End are also found in Crushed Dreams, undoubtedly, in my opinion, the second best Tristania song (second only to My Lost Lenore).

I think that if Tristania was to mix this sound into their more musical songs, they would become impossibly better.  I very much hope that this sound is integrated into Ashes, as I think it will create a sound of unequalness to anything around.
