The first song I've heard from Tristania was Heretique. That was when I got heavily addicted to it And lateron when I was expanding my collection, I stumbled upon a small sample of The Shining Path. And I instantly needed the song!! and when I finally got it, and heard, it, I drooled all over my keyboard here xD

Sucks? It's THE best song from the whole album. And that's saying alot since "World of Glass" is their best album to date. Checking my iTunes, it's actually the track which I listen to the most.

Excluding "The Modern End", I still believe this is the best song on "World of Glass".

Great opening. All Tristania’s openings are wonderful, but this is very special. This song’s extreme vocals lines convinced me to start to sing growls vocals. I sang “Heathen, heathen” till my throat bled. The best song in a Inquisitorial atmosphere which I have listened.

This is now my favourite song by Tristania. Vibeke's voice is haunting in this song. The whole track sends chills down my spine! I have to stop miming when I walk down the road when I listen to it though, people are starting to stare

Hello everyone! Shining Path was the first Tristanias song Ive heared. I loved Tristania becouse of it, and for me its one of the best songs of this group (i like Wormwood more ) For me its very difficult to understad lyrics of the first part... Does anyone know if female part is same with male? Its very chaotic - Don't care if I choke.... Sacrifice me for my sins For my beliefs Spit at me Die...with me When I'm gone Death will come to you Death will come... How do you think, is this song about Witch-hunting?

Witch-hunting, yes, as well as when people were burned for being the "wrong" religion.

I think it's the best song of the album.. becuase it's the only one of their song made-without-Morten I like. The lyric is quite violent...

some say this song sucks, others that it's one of the best songs on the album... i think it's THE best song on the album! the choirs are perfect and Vibeke's vocals are really haunting... so what do you think about it?
I personally agree that yes this is one of the best songs on the album. First song I heard of it and definetly a firm favourite. Vibekes vocals are real fragile and haunting but then when that big growl comes in.. its like.. OOOMPH heh

in my opinion,I'm still amazed by the song,I mean, the bestiality of the grunts, narrating the living burn of a so called witch...it almost makes my skin chill and smell the woods burning...is the best one in WOG for me...
