What do the lyrics on WoG (the song) refer to?

I keep reading them but I cannot really get to what they're referring to. At first I thought they were about war, but then I realized that Hatred Grows talked about that...

Well, I did read in an interview that World of Glass, as an album, describes how fragile things are. Perhaps the same applies for the song?

I believe that most, if not all, of the lyrics are about religion... heretics being burnt in The Shining Path, crusades in Hatred Grows, the Bible's predictions of the end of the world in Wormwood, judgement day in Crushed Dreams...

Some I don't understand at all, though, like Deadlocked...
