My painting with lights
« on: 20 March 2010, 18:56:57 »

Oki, my new old interest, photography, is something i really like now.
Photography is what i call "painting with light", and it's something i've received quite good reviews on.
So i'd like to share my work with you.
Before i used my own little digital camera, Sony DSC-W55, now i don't use it since i have access to a Nikon D5000 D-SLR.
And where i sort of work, i used a Canon EOS 350D.
So here we...erhm...i go!  ;D

First, is what i call a dark angel.
I used a normal table lamp, with the cover it made a nice soft light.

This black/white photo is from where my father lives.

Here is the fjord where i live, i've edited away a powerline, so it looks better.

Well, i guess the picture says it all.

One of our three cats, he was almost "posing" at the pool.

This photo of a butterfly i am quite proud of, i was lucky it didn't fly away since i was quite close up to it.

A strange flower outside a hotel from my vacation to Sunny Beach, Bulgary 2009.

Another picture from Bulgaria, tis' a tree i've never seen before.

This is taken just outside Senja, one of Norway's biggest islands.

This, is me, in this i added 3 other backgrounds.

Here's a picture i'm very proud of.
I've mixed 3 pictures, first the landscape, with snow and clear skies, the other picture are the boat, which i copied from another picture, last picture used is the clouds.
The black/white seen in this picture is the so called Ansel Adams effect.

A couple hungry birds eating sunflower seeds.

This is taken while my stepfather was moving snow, and i was on the second floor in our house.

Ice shards hanging from our roof.

No, this wasn't taken 50 years ago, actually last year, near small house far out in the fjords.
And it's not the usual sepia effect, here i used colorized hue/saturation.

This forest is not far from our home.

Very nice work Bloodstorm, the one of the fjord where you live is beautiful. With your permission I'd like to use the one with the butterfly in a slideshow for one of my music videos on my YouTube Channel. Would that be ok? I have a 32 minute instrumental that I did with a keyboardist & I'm breaking it into 3 or 4 parts, & I can insert the butterfly photo into several frames somewhere along the way if that's ok with you?

Thank you, I'll keep you posted, it'll take me awhile to put it all together, hopefully not too long though.
