My Death, Come Near Me cover. (As usual, I did both clean singing (even the harmonies) and the growls)
My recorder was glitching out and deleted one of my vocal tracks...and then it screwed up my growling for some reason...so it doesn't sound that great...but it's alright. :D

okay, so these next two aren't covers...these are actually original works by me.
The guitars and drum programming is done by my uncle but everything else is done by me (keyboards etc). It's mainly an instrumental except for one little part near the end where I sing.
The one after that is just a sort of softer outro/intro like song.

:o IN ONE MONTH I WANT A FULL-LENGTH ALBUM OF YOU.

Really, your songs are awesome for being the firsts you make (aren't they?). They sound like something awesome between power metal, doom metal, gothic metal and progressive metal :D.
At least I'd like to download these two please 8)

Thank you. I have recorded other stuff...but haven't done much with them...so these can be considered my two frst real songs.
There is one other song...but it's a friendlier song that I recorded about a year or two ago (when I was just getting into metal)

I do want to make an album...if i can. i do have material that is "album material" and do have an idea how it'd sound. (gothic, doom, etc)

and i would let you download these two songs, but i don't know how to really make them available for download. i know how you can rip them from youtube and put it on an iPod though...

My cover of Falling Again by Lacuna Coil
Good choice and great cover :D I started thinking in how would lacuna coil sound if cristina had a higher voice :o

I also know how to play this on my guitar, it's quite addicting to play hehe.

Awesome!  ;D (as usual!)

I might have asked this already, but do you use a software to downplay the vocals in the song? It sounds like ''vocal removed'' on a software I used some time ago.

I do something similar. I increase the volume of the instrumental to drown out the original vocals...so they're basically nonexistent

I love your covers! You have a really pretty voice and a good technique, that's both worth a lot!
And the growls... impressing! My own sound somehow strange and are waaaay too faint to be heard properly while I sing. Oh, and I get aches in my throat in a small time. I guess I have the false technique, I have to work on that.

Are you in a band, Vanessa? I guess you would sound pretty awesome with some nice original compositions behind you.

No, I'm not in a band, but I do create my own music as you've already probably seen.
But I would love to be in a real band.

Seems like you could be the songwriter then ^^
I've put "The Fey of Hollow's Eve" into my favourites on Youtube, it's a really great song.

Thank You :D

I actually composed the first three minutes of that song when i was 13. My uncle played the guitar and i did all the keyboards/piano. Then, this year, i added the rest of it...with the whole piano and the singing part. I'm proud of it :)

But for now, i love doing vocal covers. it's very fun.
original songs take a lot of time for me

This song is not by me, but I'm featured in it.

It's called "Ruins of Dystopia" by DJ Adam, and I sing the female clean parts. There are two other vocalists in the song, (Thorbiel - harsh male vocals, Erik - clean male vocals)
